Irina’s career is going great guns and is blossoming with each passing day and Cristiano’s professions are such that they have to spend lots of time away from each other which sparks off rumors that they have broken up. However, Ronaldo’s girlfriend candidly explains says that she is happy with her relationship and the future will only say whether they will start a family together. She blushes when she says that her man always manages to put a smile on her face that is the most exciting part of the relationship. They started dating almost three years ago, when Cristiano gave birth to a baby boy and whose mother is an anonymous American lady.

Although there were rumors doing the rounds that the duo had possibly broken up because Ronaldo was cheating on Irina Shayk with a Brazilian model, known as Miss Bumbum. However Ronaldo and Irina’s strong and undying love for each other silenced such rumors. The couple was spotted for the first time after these rumors for a match between Nadal and Ferrer; they seemed to be totally comfortable with each other, exchanged loving glances and remained glued to each other rather than the match. The duo have been seeing each other since May 2010, but they go for long periods without seeing each other as Ronaldo is busy with his football assignments and has to split time between Madrid and Native Portugal. Irina who is mostly in New York for modeling work, travels all over the world because of her work commitments.
Irina said that she was unaffected by all the rumours of Ronaldo cheating on her. While Urach reportedly went on saying that Ronaldo was obsessed with her and wanted to meet her in person in Madrid and that he wanted everything to be under wraps because Irina would be outraged if she got to know about it, Irina chose to maintain a no comment stance. In fact Ronaldo became furious to hear such stories and said it was absolutely and fictitious and that he was absolutely in love with Irina.

Ronaldo and Shayk were reportedly engaged and the Russian beauty was spotted flaunting an eye catching sparkler on the third finger of her left hand. Irina’s ring comprised a mound of diamonds and was obviously very expensive and the ring grabbed the limelight from her boyfriend who was picking up the Golden Boot Award. Ronaldo is a very romantic boyfriend and loves to surprise his lady love. He flew all the way from Spain to New York to propose the glamorous model on Valentine’s Day.
The couple is quite serious about the relationship and is contemplating marriage. In fact there were even reports that Irina was expecting Ronaldo’s child. Even Ronaldo’s mother wanted her son to settle down and also expressed the desire that they should get married in the footballer’s hometown of Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
Before dating Irina, Ronaldo maintained a playboy image. He dated many socialites previously but seems to have tamed down and found love in her girlfriend.
